Serenia is a large Open World 'Dark' Fantasy Adult RPG Dungeon Crawler where you play as the Court Wizard of the kingdom of Serenia. When a prophecy warns of a coming dark lord, you must set out on your own to prepare for what’s coming. To protect the city and those you care about, you must grow stronger by delving into ancient labyrinths and uncovering forgotten magic. Serenia combines story-driven RPG progression and dungeon exploration, with a strong focus on NSFW encounters and character interactions. Serenia is planned to be released in 3 chapters.

About AI Use
- Visual Assets (AI + Photoshop): The game utilizes AI-generated imagery for assets that I chop up and then animate by hand. "full-screen" AI images are used sparingly.
- Animations (No AI): Every animation is hand-crafted/rigged in After Effects to ensure quality and fluid movement.
- Audio (No AI): No AI is used for music, sound effects, or voice—all audio is sourced or created traditionally.
- Writing (No AI): All story and dialogue are human-written (my typos prove that!). AI is used strictly for proofreading and grammar checks.
- Code (Some AI): AI is used as a tool to troubleshoot and optimize Ren'Py scripts.
- My thoughts on AI: While I believe AI cannot replace the unique value of human-created art, I embrace it as an empowering tool that has finally allowed me to overcome my limited resources and drawing talent to bring the expansive world, story, and characters of Serenia to life. The time I save generating art allows me to pour my own artistic skills and vision directly into other areas like animation (not done with AI), storytelling, and gameplay. I hope you enjoy the game!
Tone & Content
- Dark & Explicit: The game leans heavily into dark humor and corruption themes, as clearly shown in the project thumbnails.
- Not a Standard Sim: This is not a traditional dating sim or a lighthearted harem game. The story can be dark at times.
- A Chapter-Based Journey: Serenia is a multi-chapter story focused on a corruption arc.
- The Chapter 1 "Prologue": In the first chapter, the MC plays the role of a "good person." Think of this as a long prologue. From Chapter 2 onward, the mask comes off. The player will be given meaningful choices to stay on a "good" path or lean into "evil." If the MC feels too nice right now, it’s because you are witnessing the starting point before his descent.
Addressing NTR
- By definition, this is not an NTR game. There are no scenes—now or in the future—where the MC’s romantic interest, family member, loved one, etc, is forcefully taken from him, nor is he ever made to feel jealous or "cucked."
- In Chapter 1, the MC is mostly focused on one/two girls (but can have scenes with up to 6). These scenes are exclusive—there is zero "other guy" involvement with his partners.
However, players sensitive to certain themes should be aware of the following (which some may interpret as NTR-adjacent):
- Many scenes do not feature the MC at all (e.g., Orcs attacking a village or bandits encountering NPCs).
- The player can often choose to save girls or let "bad things" happen to them. Some of these girls can become love interests later in the story regardless of their past.
- There is one specific character who cannot be saved from her initial circumstances. She can, however, become a love interest later.

Are there only two Kim scenes currently? Or, does getting her other scenes rely on picking the immoral option?

Kim does have some scenes you could miss if you pick all good.

Should be ready in 2 weeks or so (I think). Just finishing up my first playtest and completing last few animations.
Pretty good game but based on its homepage you'd think its bit more innocent maybe change it so it reflects your tastes instead. Overall I got angry 3 times throughout. Oh and if your going full dark I hope you're aware that I need to be able to destroy things like the goblin caves and orc camps and that as a darklord whats mine is mine and I don't like sharing and if some scum comes along and steals from me they are dead given your preferences are widely on display I doubt you'll deliver satisfyingly in this case tbh. Still it is a good game but perhaps not for my tastes and for those that like non-con go for it.

Sobre tu pregunta: la moralidad no tiene un impacto inmediato en el juego. Su función es determinar qué final obtienes al terminar la historia — así que si terminas con 0 puntos, eso influirá en qué final te toca, pero no cambia los diálogos ni las decisiones en el momento.
Lo que sí tiene impacto directo en las conversaciones y escenas que ves es tu nivel de relación (relationship score) con cada una de las chicas. Eso es lo que determina qué diálogos se te muestran a lo largo del juego.
Un detalle extra: en la v1.3 voy a cambiar la moralidad de una escala de 0-10 a una de 0-50, para que tenga más peso y sea más significativa con el tiempo. Ahora mismo, en 0-10, no hace mucho todavía.

based on the screenshot you shared. You need to get the shock spell and go past the voice in the dark hallway.
the shock spell is by the statue girl. To get to it, you need to have done to spirit/piggy quest. Spirit can be found in the pit, just stay left when you enter the dungeon till you find him (go down pit and click on magic symbol on wall)

Sinto muito em saber que você está tendo problemas com essa parte. Se você bateu em uma parede aqui, só precisa usar o fast travel para voltar para a bifurcação (o caminho de dois lados) e seguir na outra direção.

Con respecto al proceso de actualización, por lo general suelo lanzar cada versión como un archivo de juego completo e independiente. Sé que no es tan eficiente como lanzar simplemente un parche de actualización, pero por varias razones tengo que hacerlo de esta manera por ahora.
Dicho esto, las partidas guardadas normalmente se almacenan en la carpeta AppData de tu sistema, por lo que no perderás tu progreso aunque borres la carpeta del juego anterior. Si quieres estar completamente seguro, siempre puedes hacer una copia de seguridad de tus archivos de guardado de forma manual.
Además, la v1.3 incluirá una opción para comenzar directamente desde el Capítulo 2. De este modo, si alguien llega a perder su partida guardada, podrá saltarse una gran parte del juego y avanzar directamente para estar mucho más cerca del nuevo contenido.

A bit now but it will expand in future updates. It is not the main kink of the game but you can turn in optional “breeding and preg” related dialogs, and there is sort of a graphic after the sex scenes to see if impreg stuck.
That said, it’s not much beyond that. In future updates it will get more attention (such a scenes with vis preg love interests). All optional though.

v1.3 should be a good size though. It will add in 20+ scenes and a few hours more content. I release large content updates about once every 3 months. These "weekly updates" are just dev blogs.

"If the MC feels too nice". Jeebus. "Oh man, I do feel bad about having my actions result in the sexual slavery and eventual deaths of thinking feeling beings." Corruption arc indeed. What's regular nice supposed be? Even limited by AI, you've managed to create characters and connections that have great potential; but the very basis of the story is the ruining of these. Is that the kink? Just trying to prepare myself.
Haha yeah, I get two very different types of bad reviews: players who want the MC to be a total villain, and players who want everyone to be safe and happy. I try to warn both groups!
From chapter 2 the game provides two main paths: a romantic corruption route (turning them into your slutty girlfriends) or a much darker, objectifying route. The game won't force you to be evil, though you can't stop every bad thing from happening in the story either.
My core promise to players, though: once a character is an established love interest, nothing bad happens to them without it being your direct choice.
Sorry if It came across as a "bad review". I was simply surprised. I did read the warnings and had an idea of what this might be going in, but was unprepared for what I got.
On the face of it, it's an erotic story with AI visuals. Dime a dozen. But what really threw me was how compelling it was. The overarching threat and how the MC interprets as well as deals with it is a fantastic setup. Many of the romantic partners are introduced as token sex characters, then whoop?! Suddenly there's tension revolving around their worldviews, the uncertainty of their futures, and the MCs effects on them as more then just a horny mage? what? There is a real story here, and good stories have conflict and struggle.
But having visuals, let alone detailed descriptions, of the truly awful things that happen in a story like this is something that's relatively modern. Really forces the reader to think what it is they're consuming as entertainment. Add to that the ability to choose (somewhat) the path the story takes and suddenly what was a mindless sexcapade is now something of a mirror. Was not ready.

I am not sure how it works on every device. But usually the save files are on the device (not in the game files), so yes - you can update, load, and your saves should still be there.

Have you checked the walkthrough? it gives a list of all the quests you need to open the final door. Maybe you need to find and do the Olivia Statue quest next? From where the picture is you can go out and right, then down the trap door. The statue is close to there. The long way is by the spider queen and up the vines, then looping back

Right now yes.
I want to keep the game free, but also give some value back to those that choose to support the project and help me continue to create it. I felt bonus scenes (that do not impact the story) were a good way to do that. At the moment, the bonus scenes are just new positions with love interests. They do not have any impact on the plot.
My plan is to add 1-2 bonus scenes per update.
Listen, the goblin baby is too cute. It's enraging. You gotta let is us interact with it. To be clear, I mean zero (0) adult themes/actions with the baby. let us pinch it's cheeks, slap its fat belly, squeeze it, punch it in the gut, pull out it's tooth, toss it against the wall, drop kick it... How do I start Olivia's quest? I have already helped the guy spirit the first time but I have no idea how to find an olivia statue, trap door, or olivia spirit anywhere, currently have quests that can't be continued for the voice, the vault, and asking where zuri is

Guys, without exaggeration, this is the best novel I played in my life time. I was so invested that I literally finished it in a single day. Story is top notch, combat system is very good for the engine it's built on, and 18+ stuff is exquisite with good selection to choose from. The only bad thing is the wait, but I am prepared for it.
